We are not the only ones who take long breaks and stay on Koh Samui. Dirk heard via the grapevine of Hilti that a family of Moldavia with a daughter of 9 is currently on Koh Samui to learn the English language better. While in between 2 jobs and soon starting for Hilti in Canada the family decided to go to Koh Samui and study there for English. Not a bad life style if you ask me!
So we met up one night for dinner and then another time we met each other at the beach in Maenam. While I was enjoying some fresh coconut juice the girls hit it off in the water. So great to see them having so much fun, you would not believe if you see these pictures that the girls only met each other once at a dinner a few days before!
Jasmine , Juliet and Rita.
PS: Although I wrote a posting about leaving Koh Samui, I still have a few back up stories to tell, before I move onto Pattaya, Hua Hin and Bangkok.
In the meantime I am already back home and life here in South Africa is keeping me on my toes again!
Although my gardener told me that I just came back from a 2 month vacation, life here is like a vacation as well... at least in HIS eyes! Oh well, what does he know about my HARDSHIP!
Have a good day!
Mireille

Gosh Mireille! I have so much catching up to do on your wonderful blog so I hope you'll forgive me if I go through your posts slowly!! I'm just emerging from the busiest two months in my history at my company which was slightly made worse by a trip in the middle!
I love this post - looks like these girls will be best friends for life!! We have been doing work in Moldova, trying to teach the government how to govern properly.
