Our welcome at Baan Laem Noi

Leaving South Africa and the World Cup craze behind! Here we are at the airport in Johannesburg with the FIFA mascot! On our way to Koh Samui, via Singapore.

We arrived late at our summer house on Baan Laem Noi, after a two day stay in Singapore with our friends Lara, Fouad, and their daughters Alyssa and Isabella. Which was so much fun to finally meet the girls! We had such a wonderful stay at their place and spent 2 full days with them.

The welcome to Koh Samui was just as wonderful. Annette, my friend picked us up from the airport and we drove to the house we will be staying for the next 6 weeks. The fridge was filled with goodies, and a fruit basket with a bunch of exotic fruits and fresh coconuts were awaiting us. Which the girls devoured...

JJ pretended she was on the beach already and sipping her coconut on the floor! LOL

After a bit unpacking we went to bed, the heat and humidity were a bit overwhelming, so we were happy to have air conditioning in the bedrooms! The next morning we had breakfast on our deck and immediately went for a stroll to the beach, which is just 1 minute away from the house. BLISS!!

Our vacation can begin!
