An evening out in Fisherman's Village

Friday evening we went out to Fisherman's Village in Bophut. A small village here on the island. Each Friday they close down the streets for traffic, so all you can do is walk, eat and shop. So much fun!! The shops all have their wares out on the street and on every little corner there is a food stall who sells the most delicious little snacks in small portions so you can try a few before you are actually full! Annette, my friend and her daughter were with us and the girls snacked on some Chicken sates and home made cookies, but we adults had set our mind on eating at this new restaurant in town Krua Bophut. Which is ranked restaurant #3 from the 105 restaurants in Samui, so worth trying out!

These are pictures from the restaurant, it had a feel of a Grand Cafe, right on the beach. A beautiful old building that they had renovated and kept all the old details. You can either eat inside, outside on a deck or even directly on the beach. Just a magical place, we definitely want to try out again, it was so good!!

While we just finished eating the girls saw outside a beach vendor selling these huge balloons you can lit up and make a wish, well Jasmine, Juliet and Jing Lan really wanted to do lit up such a magical balloon, so Annette went out with the girls and they made a wish for grandma. While me and my dad were inside watching :-)

We had such a fun evening together! And we will be back, the food was yummy, the place was grand and the beach is gorgeous, what more can you wish for?

Today we are off for a trip into the mountains, more about that later!
