The rocks have been shaped over millions of years by wind and water to resemble human sex organs. A short narrow alley lined with souvenir stalls leads from the main road to the rocks and a little cafe in Rasta style has been build in between the rock formations.
You actually end up on Grandmother's belly, where a crevice has been worn into the rock to form granny's legs. The Grandfather Rock, a penis shaped pillar, is about 25 metres to the south.
Despite the silliness that the stones induce, the spot is actually rather beautiful, with turquoise waters in pools among the rocks. Apparently there is a love story affiliated with these rocks of a man or woman ending their life together during a storm, and the symbol of their love developed into the shapes that the rocks now have.
All in all a bit silly and not really the biggest tourist attraction on the island, but we had fun climbing the rocks, having a cool refreshing drink and a great lunch under the palm trees and enjoying just another great day on Samui!

The shrine was also dedicated to grandmothers and grandfathers.
A little cafe was build into the rocks, the Jamaica vibe is really IN on the island, lots of tie-dye and Bob Marley signs.

Then we walked over to the other side, to have some lunch at an seafood restaurant, nice and cool in the shade.
Lunch with a view like this, you can have this only in Thailand!
